MY ROLE: In-House Graphic Designer/Assisted Art Direction
Custom art made especially for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County’s gift shop features a collection of quirky and edgy dinosaur illustrations. We took inspiration from VANS and LA’s skateboard culture and combined it with an 80s retro vibe.
Moodboards (shown below) were presented to NHMLA that began the initial art direction process. The final products cover all age demographics ranging from adult to infant as well as a fun assortment of product that includes graphic tees, enamel pins, playing cards and skateboards.
